Irene Rodríguez-Manzaneque: ¨Smile and Learn sparks students’ interest¨

Feedback from teachers

Feedback from teachers who use the Smile and Learn on a daily basis, is essential to us in order to improve our platform and keep evolving. Today, we’re interviewing Irene Rodríguez-Manzaneque Gómez-Comino, primary school teacher at Zola School, in Las Rozas, Madrid.

How would you describe your Smile and Learn experience?

It has been truly good because the app motivates kids a great deal. In my class, it’s an awesome teaching resource and it’s also helpful for kids because they use it to do homework and work on curriculum content.

How do your students feel about it?

To them, it’s a fun game, something amusing.

According to you, what is the best feature of the platform?

The variety of games and activities; it’s also learner-appropriate.

What is your favorite game or story?

I don’t know. I couldn’t name just one. But I like the Cooking and Drawing apps.

I love it when my daughter plays with the Calculation app. She asks me to. The app helps her to reinforce relevant content. In class, I love using the Science apps and the Reading Skills Practice app, in English. Overall, the platform comes with engaging, fun and above all motivating apps for kids.
